I am writing this blog post because I cannot connect to my Xbox One’s dhcp server and it is driving me nuts. I can’t play any of the games on my xbox one, which is not cool at all. No one should have to live without their favorite game for a day or two!
All suggestions are welcome as well as links in the comments section below that might help someone else out too. I was setting up my Xbox One for the first time when I ran into a problem. My router is set to broadcast DHCP, but I couldn’t connect to it on the Xbox One.
The fix is simple enough – I just had to turn off the WiFi connection on my laptop and then go back through setup again with an Ethernet cable plugged in instead of wireless networking.
