Sugar Free Chocolate Syrup Recipe

Introduction

Eating ice cream sundaes or waffles without any chocolate syrup is kind of dull. Also, there is some awesome beverage where chocolate syrup is a must use. Chocolate milkshake is one of the beverages that neither kids nor even adults can resist.

But to make one, you have to add chocolate syrup. However, if you have a sweet tooth but want your diet to be low carb, you have to go sugar-free. So, here is a simple home sugar free chocolate syrup recipe that you can make at home.

Preparations

Do you know why factory-made food tastes better and consistent? Because their food preparation remains the same. Sometimes it passes 100 years still; they prepare it like it should be done.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  •  ¾ cup sugar free cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • A pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoon Allulose
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Take a saucepan that is big in size and keep it on the stove at medium heat. Then add water, and cocoa powder, start stirring, so the power begins thickening.
  2. Now add butter, salt, allulose, and whisk until the butter melts. Keep stirring to avoid the mixture sticking on the pan. Once the butter and sweeter melts, cover with the lid.
  3. Let it cook for 4 to 5 minutes. While boiling, the mixture will be starting to thicken. Don’t burn the sauce, and recognize when you will see thick bubbles. It is done.
  4. Take off the lid and let the heat get out of the pan. Add heavy cream and vanilla extract and whisk to mix everything well.
  5. Take it off the stove and let it rest for half an hour.
  6. Fill the syrup in a jar and use it for any low carb delight.

Recipe tips

  • Using the right sweeter is very important in making chocolate syrup. Some sweetener starts recrystallization after reaching high temperature. Allulose or Bocha Sweet is what I prefer to use. Because some people found that Erythritol starts crystalization when the heat rises.
  • Take a good quality cocoa powder if you want to enjoy the syrup. If you use raw cocoa powder, then the syrup may taste bitter. Use organic powder like Guittard.
  • If you tend to avoid salt, let me remind you that salt can enhance the taste of chocolate. So add salt to experience the most flavorful chocolate syrup.
