When is pressure-treated lumber ready to be painted or stained

The pressure-treated lumber we buy from the store is not ready to be painted or stained. You can’t paint it without sanding and you can’t stain it until its been treated with a preservative, which means waiting at least six months. Read more about this in my blog post!
